(Everyone asks me about this instead of reading the manual... ;-)
Enter a superscript by holding down either shift or option
and clicking the "regular" consonant or vowel.
Compatibility
This software is only for Mac OS X 10.2 and later.
There's an IPA Palette-inspired application for Windows available at
http://davidmontero.net/Linguistics.php
You will only be able to use this software with Unicode-compliant
programs.
If a program works with Apple's Character Palette, it
will almost certainly work with my palette.
However, many programs, especially older or poorly-engineered ones,
will not work. For example:
- Probably all Mac OS Classic programs
- pre-2004 versions of Microsoft Office
- Carbon Emacs
- Some Adobe products, possibly including Photoshop
- Probably/possibly most/some Java, X11, TCL/Tk programs, etc....
